Tea Time & Patisserie

Traditionally, tea time is served around actual dining time. It was not created to replace breakfast, lunch or dinner but rather to fill the gap between an early breakfast and early lunch, or an early lunch and a late dinner. Small sandwiches, scones, biscuits, and tea were typically on small ornamental three-tier serving trays, or sometimes small plates will do.
